Church Library

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED ABOUT WHAT BOOKS WE HAVE IN OUR TWO CAMPUSES’ LIBRARIES?

Here are the step-by-step instructions to access Northlife Church’s new library system: Libib. Libib shows the collections of both the St. Germain and Rhinelander Campuses’ libraries. You can search by title, author, topic, etc. to find specific books. Libib includes a brief summary of each book to help you find that perfect Christian book that speaks to you.

Step 1: Sign up
Sign up with your name and email to be a library “patron”. You can email this information to: NLClibrary@northlifewisconsin.com or provide on the sign-up sheet in the library. Even if you don’t plan on using the Libib program, we ask that you please sign up with your e-mail so we can track the books being checked out of the libraries and can send an email to remind you to please return a book.

Step 2: Access Our Library

Step 3: Set Up Your Account Password
– Click Need Password? at the bottom of the prompt window to have a temporary password emailed to you. Check your email and save your password.

– Click the upper left picture (books or church logo depending upon your device) which takes you where you can sign back in to LIbib using your email and the temporary password sent to you. After you log in, you can change your password in your Account settings.

Step 4: Browse and Search the Catalog
– Explore the library’s Collections to see all that we have to offer. At this time, we have 2 collections: St. Germain Campus books and Rhinelander Campus books. More will be added as we include DVDs, CDs, etc. You can select each campuses’ collection individually to see what is in that specific library.

– Use the search bar to find specific titles, authors, or items. For example, if you like mystery books, type in “mystery”. This will bring up all books that the word “mystery” shows in the title or in the book description.

– Use the “Filter” option (3 vertical bars) to find books by categories (known as “tags”), such as Fiction. This shows books in both campuses’ libraries. If you want to see what is in just one campus library, go to the Search bar and toggle the “Search All Collections” button to the off position. This will then only show the books in the library collection you have selected. Check the box next to the “tag” for the category of books you want to see. Then hit the “x” at the top right for the list of books to appear.

– When you pull up a book, the “tag” for each book is shown below the book information and indicates where you will find the book on the library shelf. Note: “a” before the category is an adult book and “z” before the category is a children’s book.

Step 5: Check Out Items or Place Holds
To Self-Checkout:
Click on an item’s details, select Checkout, and confirm your items in the queue by clicking Complete. You can still check out with the card in the front of the book as you previously had done at the library.

To Place a Hold:
Click Add Hold on an item’s details page to reserve it, then click Complete when finished queuing items.

Due date:
There is a 30-day due date but don’t worry, you can always renew.

Step 6: Manage Your Account
– Log in to your Patron Page to view your active checkouts, current holds, and borrowing history.
